We had a line hit in the Heatherstone Subdivision and the water service will be off for a few hours. When the water service is restored, the whole subdivision will be under a boil advisory. We have contacted Cromwell Radio and they will be relaying any updates. They will relay when the boil advisory is lifted, along with us posting it on Facebook and our website. These are a few precautionary steps you can take after a boil advisory has been lifted:
1. You may want to dump all ice in icemakers for 3 cycles.
2. You may want to run your dishwasher with very hot setting before washing dishes.
3. Hard flush all faucets 10 to 15 minutes, and then slow flush until water is clear.
